Love it! I’m surprised (but not surprised) that Jin O can’t see the obvious connection between Jeon Seol and Se Joo. He reminds Se Joo that blasting through his writer’s block is now solely his responsibility. Jin O calls his bluff and agrees their deal ends. Irked, Se Joo declares he won’t help him and orders him to leave. He chuckles that Se Joo’s crazy behavior has cooled an ardor Jeon Seol might have felt. Se Joo asks what Jin O will do if Jeon Seol falls for him. Jin O counters that’s why he needs Se Joo to thwart other men until he can be seen. Se Joo points out that Jin O is a ghost and Jeon Seol cannot see him. Jin O retorts that a man in love doesn’t stop trying just because the odds are stacked against him. Se Joo tells him he has no chance with Jeon Seol. Se Joo asks if Jin O liked Jeon Seol in their shared past. Se Joo shakes his head at Jin O’s persistence. Jin O appears in the closet and bath with the stuffed puppy dog. Jin O holds an adorable stuffed puppy dog and asks Se Joo to try. The next morning Se Joo tells Jin O he can’t get involved with Jeon Seol even to thwart another. That morphs into her friend Ma Bang Jin (Yang Jin Sung) who asks if she’s okay. She sees a fuzzy image of past Se Joo but can’t make out his face. When Jeon Seol wakes from a dream, she feels a hand on her forehead. Not one to take criticism well, Se Joo predictably yells at Jin O to leave his house. He bristles that basic dating rules include not talking about former relationships and providing unwanted comparisons. Jin O asks if Se Joo has ever dated anyone. Jeon Seol doesn’t remember her past self, so she thinks Se Joo is talking about a different woman, hence the again. Jin O practically has to hit him over the head to get him to see no woman wants to be compared to another, that’s ample grounds for anger. Se Joo is still confused when he and Jin O arrive at his house. I can’t wait for Jeon Seol to have more flashbacks and realize the man whose face she hasn’t seen yet is Se Joo. She deflates thinking it isn’t her Se Joo likes, but a woman from his past. She wonders if a strong resemblance to his past lover is the basis for their present attraction. Walking in the rain Jeon Seol recalls the pained confession Se Joo made about seeing her in his dreams. No girl would call that a dream confession of a man’s interest in her! Se Joo stares at Jin O and asks why honesty didn’t satisfy. Jeon Seol strides away heedless of the rain. Jeon Seol wonders if she’s just a substitute for a past lover. Jin O can’t believe what Se Joo is saying. He admits he doesn’t know if it is her or a woman from his past. Se Joo admits that when he’s near that his heart flutters. Se Joo stops her and says he’ll answer her question. LOL! Jeon Seol doesn’t want to hear about ghosts again and makes to leave. Tentatively Se Joo asks if Jeon Seol believes in ghosts. Se Joo knows that Jin O demanded Se Joo remove other men from around Jeon Seol as a condition to write together. Se Joo’s eyes flick to Jin O (Ko Gyung Pyo) a ghost friend from his past that Jeon Seol cannot see. She stares at Se Joo and asks if he likes her. Se Joo mentions her clichéd actions in the rain and the inappropriate alone time she had with another man. None the less, she pulls away under an alcove and demands to know what’s going on. Jeon Seol (Lim Soo Jung) can’t believe that she’s walking in the rain with Writer Han Se Joo (Yoo Ah In).
